Michele Cera (Bari, Italy, 1973). He was awarded at the Premio Fotografico Atlante Italiano 07, organized by Italian Ministry for Arts and Culture. In 2010 and in 2012 his works Journey into a fragile landscape and Dust were selected at the Kassel Fotobook Festival Dummy Award. In 2011 he won the Open your Book prize at the SiFest Photo Festival with Dust. In 2013 he was invited by the Winterthur Fotomuseum to participate at the Plat(t)form 2013. His work is represented in major public collections, including the Maxxi (NationalMuseum for 21st Century Arts) in Rome, the Museum of Biella Territory,  Linea di Confine per la Fotografia Contemporanea. He was co-founder of Documentary Platform, a visual archive about contemporary Italy. He is author of the books  Dust (Kehrer Verlag,2013), Nel Circolo (Osservatorio Fotografico,2014), Tolyatti (with Guido Sechi, published by The Velvet Cell and VAC Foundation, 2020).
